We Can’t Get Enough Of Depot!!

Oops we did it again…. we just can’t seem to not go to Depot when in Auckland. A beautiful warm evening called for rose and beer at the outdoor tables first before diving into another Depot feast.

Bluff oysters! A delicacy here in NZ as there’s only a certain season you can get them in. It’s described by Depot as: “Bluff (flat) creamy, sweet, mildly briny, steely finish.” With some tuatua clams from Marlborough, “sweet with a briny finish”.

Potato skins with pecorini and porcini salt.

Skirt steak w/ tobacco onions, iceberg wedge & habanero mustard. The habanero mustard was the diggity!!! Need to source some for home!
